Thanks Bobby. Was aware of HKLS for a long time already. They have a good following and a lot more people than we have here in Singapore. But with this little group here, I'm not complaining. It used to be just Steven Neo and me, back in 1992-1997! ;P


Anyway, the lepidopterists societies of HK and Japan are started by collectors. What we have here in Singapore is quite different, as ButterflyCircle has more photographers outnumbering collectors (of which Les and I are probably the critically-endangered species around :bsmile:)

For photo lists, I would still prefer to use field shots rather than dead specimens. Although the latter would be better for ID purposes, I would rather take those offline and discuss with the references like C&P4, Fleming, Ek-Amnuay and so on.
