Specimen shots are included in this thread, but it's for illustration purposes, hope all can understand.

Male specimen

Zoom in, upperside - showing the male sex brand & how I conclude it as P. agna. For P. mathias, the line will only reach the center of the brand.

Zoom in, underside - illustrating the 2nd spot

Illustration for the "Radial Cell"

Base on the explanation by others author, the early stage for both P. Agna & P. mathias are praticallly identical.

Another male hatched this morning, the marking is more clear

What the rest think? Seems like no one can confirm this? So probably have to check with other expert for 2nd opinion.

At least you got some fresh specimens. Need to compare with the other species in the genus from collected material before I can confirm the ID. So keep them tentatively as what you've ID'ed them until we can compare specimen to specimen.

Have you got a verification from Dr Kirton?

As HK butterflies expert seems to have more experience with this species (early stage recorded, clearer genitalia drawing & photo), I've checked with them & gotten them to ID the adult, one of the author of the HK butt early stage book (JJYoung) have taken a look at the genitalia & kind of agreed on the ID.

Why don't you just send to Dr Kirton, instead of writing him off? After all, he helped you ID the T.colon earlier. ;P
