Despite glorious, sunny eweather for the whole trip, I encountered very few butts, and was able to take pics of even fewer (3) . Taken without my Macro lens.

1&2 - Junonia hierta (Yellow Pansy) - This is found in Malaysia.
3) Tanaecia jahnu (Plain Earl)
4) Arhopala species - closely related to A. asinarus I think)

Unlike my previous visit to Angkor areas, I found a flowering tree & there're many butt there. I'm not able to ID some of them, may be you can help.

Glad to be able to help on that thread. The butterflies of Cambodia are undoubtably the least studied of any nation in SE Asia. Admittedly, I doubt if there are many, if any, endemics, but the distribution of the butts from
Thailand, Laos and Vietnam within Cambodia would make it a very interesting country to work in.

90% of the country is now mine free, but I still worry about the remaining 10%! I like to go away from the crowd, so I am more likely to go to the wrong places!
