Yesterday, whilst at CCA, I saw what I could distinctly ID as a male Chocolate Albatross (http://b-pals.com/butts/spc_photo.php?spc_id=18&img_list_id=13)(Appias lyncida vasava) flying in an easterly direction. I believe this is the beginning of the season when they are common up north in Malaysia, and when we spotted them in past years.

Also, I recall that Richard managed to shoot a Great Orange Tip at USR some time back. This is probably also another migratory individual that made its way into Singapore.

So do look out for the Chocolate Albatrosses in the usual locations where we saw them in the past. They are likely to appear again soon! :gbounce: For those butt shooters who want to get your +1 of this species, this is around the time to nail it. Otherwise you'll have to wait for another year before sighting this bugger again. :)
