Had a day off and went out with my brother to "hunt" for butterflies in my hometown for the first time after 32 long years! I am so suprise to see so many species flying around which I tend to ignore last time.

Here, I share some of my photos taken during the day and may need assistance in the ID part.:embrass:

We were proning in the middle of a sandy road shooting him. Then a lorry passes by. Think he was drunk taking its meal and die under the lorry wheels :(. We regretted not to chase him away before the lorry arrives...

#25 Halpe insignis. Interesting sighting for us. While we were shooting, a skipper approaches my brother and stopped at his 30D. We saw him/her bang sai (in liquid form) on the camera and he/she sucks back the liquid till dry and do it again. Before he/she tries to do the third times, my brother chased it awaya because he wants to clean his camera. :)

Thanks Federick and Wong.

Fed, there is this new hotel being built in my hometown. I think the rate will not be too expensive. You can plan your next outing there ;-). It is pretty near to some of Mr. Khew's favourite butt hunting spots in Malaysia I believe.

Just one more to share.

And you must've spent a lot of time with C&P4 to try to ID them as well. Suprisingly, not too long. Two hours max perhaps with the help from BC's online checklist. Just that I am not sure if I IDed them correctly or not :embrass: . Can you check for me?
