Here are some shots taken over the past 2 days. The blue bottle was my 1st attempt and was quite bad. All the black turned brown, wasted like 200 over frames

Whilst the interest in TC has faded, I'm just beginning only :bsmile:

Good attempts nevertheless... I think that's a female Bluebottle.

Nice backgrounds on the TC. Interesting composition in #4.

I like TC #4 as well. Try to boost the contrast? It looks a little dull on my screen.

CB #1 make me rub my eyes again and again because of the OOF FG.

Thx for the comments. Both the butts are of the same butts taken in chronological order. For the cbb, 1st, I saw it at ard 8.45am and it landed on that leaf. Fearing that I might scare it, shot it thru the thick bush at 2m away. After getting some shots, went on to proceed to its right side and shot all the way till 9.25am b4 it started to open its wing and getting ready for flight. Just wondering if this is it's morning wake-up ritual :hmmm:

The TC was shot in the mid-afternoon at 3pm in cloudy and windy conditions. Apparently, the winds made it try to hang on tight on the perch and allowed me to get close unnoticed. Satisfied with a certain bg, chase it to land on differring BGs for fun. Then at 4pm, my legs went numb becuz of all the squatting and I gave up.
