I was looking at the Lesser Grass Blue thread started by SC (http://b-pals.com/forums/showthread.php?p=34661#post34661) and in his first post, he posted the photos of the seeds, the flowers, and the leaves of the plant.

It does make sense if one knows the plant before hand but to me, I cant figure out how big is the plant (of course there's one pic showing the egg and the leaf, roughly I know how big are the leaves or plant.)

May I suggest here that when we are to photograph the host plants, UFO butts, insects,...shall we include some environment subjects as well? If imposibble, we can put a 10cents coins, a ruler or whatever things which are familiar to us to see the real size of the subject?

What do you think? :-)

It will be opportunistic unless u mean those newly borned babies.
wat's the chance of they staying still when u are placing a ruler? :P

agreed with CM, we should try whenever possible to include some common object, ruler will be a best choice.
