Shot this mating pair at UPR from far and the picture is abit blur and heavily cropped. Pity that we could not have more shots.
Checked C&P and I find it is close to Unkana mytheca mytheca (Plate 58, Picture 13). What do you all think ?

Rare indeed. Only Federick and CP managed to shoot them before they split up and went separate ways.

This pair is more likely one of the Halpe spp. The forewing's markings correspond to those that are shown in C&P4. The only species found and confirmed so far is Halpe ormenes vilasina.

Here're the shots, the first uncropped, using the 2x factor. And the 2nd shot is a highly cropped shot of the butt. Blurness is probably due to camera shake, handholding at that distance and low shutter speed of 1/200s. You guys can recall how far the bugger was from us.

Can still see the red parasite on the butts eye. ;P

Seems to have a rather good match with HOV.
