A recent observation strongly suggest it is Arhopala aroa.

Fleming recorded Arhopala aroa in Singapore in his book.
The late Sunny Chir actually showed a montage of 4 similar Arhopala, one of which was suspiciously like A. aroa, with a very narrow tapered HW spot 6.
This seem to be lost.

Arhopala aroa
Wings more elongate so that the markings are more separated.
FW termen rounded also in the male.
Postdiscal and submarginal spots are well separated, on FW by about 1.5 width of pd band and on HW by about width of pd band.
HW spot 6 tends to be narrow & more tapered.
Male upperside dark violet blue.

In contrast Arhpala sublustris which is the commonest member of the alea subgroup in Singapore.
Wings not elongate.
FW margin straight in lower 2/3.
Postdiscal and submarginal close and may touch on the HW.
HW spot 6 wider & less tapered.
Male upperside bright shiny blue.
