Dear Dr. Seow,

Please provide the ID keys to distinguish between Graphium albociliatis, G. doson and G. eurypylus.
I am sharing the photographs of some of likely candidates which I have.

1. Graphium eurypylus acheron


2. Graphium doson axionides.


3. Graphium doson eleius.


Graphium doson.
UpF cell stripes all present but basal one may be obscure.
HW submarginal spots rounded.
UnH sub-basal redspotted short bar detached from the basal dark stripe. Rarely a dark line joins them. *
UnH cellend with a red-edged black spot. *

Graphium eurypylus.
UpF cell stripes all present & narrow.
UpF cellend spot variably crescentic. *
UnF submarginal spots with outer margins rounded/ not notched. *
UnH short bar (red-spotted) joins the basal black band.
UnH submarginal spot 4 always chevron , V-shaped.
UnH cellend without a black spot.

Graphium albociliatus.
UpF basal two cell stripes obscure & may be obsolete. *
UpF cellend spot mostly triangular. *
UnF submarginal spots with outer margins notched. *
UpH submarginal spot 4 usually round.
UnH short red-spotted bar joins basal black band (as in eurypylus)
UnH cellend without a black spot.

The correct name should be G. albociliatus.

PS. These two in which the UnF cellend spot is triangular & some of the FW submarginal spots notched, are likely to be G. albociliatus.

What surprisede me was G. albociliatus was formerly considered a subspecies of G. evemon as G. evemon albociliatis.

The S. E. Asian G. evemon eventus is quite different , being without a red spot on the HW sub-basal short bar.
