Hi Dr Seow, could you help to identify, is it N. beroe or Ionolyce helicon? Thank you.

Male Ionolyce helicon.

At certain angle I. helicon looks like N. beroe

Both species have the innermost costal spot above the mid-cell band absent.

Ionolyce helicon. Male FW long pointed
FW postdiscal always serially dislocated at every vein point.
HW submarginal spots sharp-pointed, particularly in space 3 just above the large black tornal spot in space 2.

Nacaduba beroe.
FW postdiscal typically with a mid dislocation, rarely broken at every vein points as in I. helicon.
HW submarginal spots lunulate (crescentic) not sharp pointed particularly in space 3.
Males.

A male in which the HW submarginal spots appear sharp, but it is only the white stria defining the dark spot.
