Both are female Potanthus trachala.

Both have the HW band's upperspot projected out from the spot 3 below it by more than half its lower margin.
In addition in pic 2, FW spot 4 ( lower of the two spots) have no overlap with spot 3 (hidden by the HW).

Both P. trachala & mingo look similar with a black band on the abdominal end & often heavy black marks.

Potanthus trachala. Large FW 14-15mm.
FW spots 4 & 5 have no overlap (ie fully detached) from the spots above & below them.
HW upper spot of band usually projected by half or more of its lower margin from the outer margin of spot 3 below it.
HW cilia chequered.
Males.

Potanthus mingo. Small FW 12mm.
FW spot 4 & 5 with variable overlaps with adjacent spots. At the least spot 4 always overlaps with spot 3.
HW with upper spot of band not so strongly projected out, typically overlapping spot 3 by more than half.
HW cilia largely not chequered.

Male ;Note this male have FW spots 4 & 5 fully overlapping with the spots above & below them.
