The new CP5 lists the two subspecies hiemalis and periculosa. How do we differentiate between them? Thanks! These were taken at Taman Botani Negara, Shah Alam.

Images of the two subspecies are much confused.
ssp periculosa is not known to occur in P. Thailand.
SSp hiemalis extend from Thailand south to Langkawi.

It seem impossible to seperate them from the underside.
Male hiemalis UpF have the black blueshot border wider ,the inner border with lobe-like intrusions.

Ssp peruculosa male have the FW black border narrower & the inner border more irregular.Similar to this ssp nivea from Belitung Isle Sumatra.
