2. Pantoporia sandaka davidsoni male.

The two specieas are even more confusing in India where the dsf P. hordonia closely resembles the wsf P. sandaka.

P. sandaka davidsoni.
FW submarginal grey band always broken into beads.
Male postdiscal band ( with round head & a foot extending inwards along the lower margin) with the foot large.
Male HW speculum white , shiny & may be seen with the FW raised high.

P. hordonia hordonia.
FW submarginal grey band wider than the orange band (wsf) FW foot of postdiscal band narrower.
HW speculum small & grey.

Typical wsf.

dsf.
Note the FW postdiscal band's foot is large denoting a male but the left FW is raised showing no white speculum , thus a male P. hordonia. Correction dsf female P. sandaka compare Yutaka webpage female at Nan.
