Having used the many notes I have gleaned from Butterfly Circle on the separation of these many confusing look-alikes, I have several remaining form a recent trip to the south of Thailand that I would like to check/confirm please.

Image 1. An old photo from Hala-Bala, which I wonder if I have correct. I currently have this as Cynitia flora, but wonder if the very ragged edge to the blue of the forewing indicates more Cynitia cocytina.

Image 2. and 3. (Same image loaded in error twice).
Not sure of this at all. Eyes are not green, so must be a Cynitia species.
Forewing blue edge ragged, but looks straighter. Band truncated before apex. I think Cynitia flora.

Image 4.
I cannot find other images on the web with similar pale shading near the forewing apex, but assume this is Cynitia flora.

Image 5.
I think female Cynitia godartii.

With thanks.

These species have been very confusing in the past.

C. godartii asoka.
HW blue band narrow FW blue band with straight margin, at rest in line with the HW band.
Underside FW male with a submarginal fascia that is nearer the apex than at the tornus.

Note below is C. godartii not cocytina (iapis).
http://www.vireos.com/Thailand/html/Tanaecia_iapis.html

C. flora andersonii (Male underside HW outer area paler than rest of wings)
HW blue band broad, in set specimen narrower at upper end (HW apex).
FW apex falcate, blue band with inner margin more regular , at rest nearly aligned with the HW blue band.
Ssp andersonii male with FW brown margin thicker than that on HW & slightly increasing towards apex.
Female with broader brown margin throughout & also may be marked with white spots, variable.

C. cocytina puseda.

FW apex more rounded, blue band with inner margin irregular & at rest more often not aligned with the HW band.
Male FW brown margin not thicker than that on HW.

1, 2, & 3 are C. cocytina puseda males.
4 is correct as female C. flora andersonii.
5 is correct as female C. godartii asoka.

These two from Thailand IDed as C. cocytina (iapis) should be C. flora andersonii.
