From Mae Hong Son, nw Thailand. I am pretty sure that this should be P. mingo. Two individuals here, but photographed at the same time in the same spot.

Would that be correct?

A view of the underside will help a lot.

Potanthus pseudomaesa.
FW spots 4 & 5 detached from spot 6 above, very slight overlap with spot 3; spots 2 & 3 relatively broad ; UpH band with outer spot well projected, veins may be lightly dark.
Underside band edged with dark spots .Abdominal end narrowly banded black, usually with a black patch or shading.

Potanthus mingo.
FW spots c4 & 5 with slight overlap with spot 6 & more overlap with spot 3; spots 2 & 3 less wider than the adjacent spots.
UpH band outer spot not strongly projected; veins not darkened; abdominal end strongly black-banded.
UnH band edged with dark spots; HW band outer margins often excavate ,zigzag appearance in dark individual.

1. is Potanthus mingo.

2. should be Potanthus pseudomaesa. Note FW band almost detached between spot 3 & 4; HW band with outer spot rather projected.

Many thanks for that. This should be the underside of (2). Same place slightly later. So should be underside of Potanthus pseudomaesa
