This a rather tricky one.
Salient points.
1. FW with some orange at the base of space 2.
2. Grey brand rather straight & central in the black space.

A. FW with a triangular orange patch at the base of space 2.

A1. Telicota besta Male brand set nearer the inner margin of black space usually slightly arcuate.
Singapore.

B2 Telicota bambusae :Small ,FW 15mm. FW short, band broader, spots 2 & 3 about 2X the width of spots 4 & 5.

Following the key it would suggest Telicota augias (recorded in Nagaland). However the appearance suggest it is Telicota linna which is said to be the commonest Telicota in Bangladesh.
Note T augias. male have lighter & narrower dark bands on the abdomen.

TL Seow: Cheers.
PS.
Exampe .T. bambusae with a prominent orange patch at the base of space 2; brand straight. Bengalore S. India .Well out of the range of both T. besta & augias.

Thanks Sir.
1. The yellowish subapical/postdiscal step-up bands running from space R5 to space CuA2 for the male of T. colon have yellowish scaling along the vein to the margin like a radar antennae stretched towards the margin of the upper forewing (Ref.: Indenfying Butterflies, Hong Kong Lepidopterists' Society, Page No.: 165
2. Upf outer edge of discalspots deeply excavated and continued along veins to termen in male. (The indentification of Indian butterflies by Evans., Page no.: 263)

But in this species only Spot 2 & 3 continued along veins towards termen.

Rajib Dey

There are individual variations. In this case the veinstripes or orange extensions are not well developed, but everything else indicate Telicota colon.

Only three species here have these veinstripes or extensions.

Cephrenes trichopepla ;Male without a brand ;spot 5 overlaps spot 6 at upper end of band ; band shape tapers upwards like a pagoda.space 2 base always black in both sexes.

Telicota colon; male brand placed near inner margin; space 2 base orange (black in female) spot 5 no overlap with spot 6 ;spot 4 & 5 often distorted.

Telicota bambusae horisha; male brand central in black space ;space 2 base usually black but often orange(black in female)spot 5 overlaps spot 6.
