1 Mycalesis anapita.

The 4 species may be ID'ed thus.

M.fusca: FW submarginal zigzag, forming a series of serrations.

M. patina; FW spot 2 & HW spot 2 much larger, of equal sizes.(formerly misplaced as the Sumatran M. marginata.

M. anapita; FW submarginal line regular ;FW postdiscal line not or barely dislocated at vein 4; HW submarginal band usually 1-1/2 width of marginal band, rarely more.

4 Thaumantis noureddin.

5, Tanaecia iapis ( also as T cocytina )Male

Some authors believed the original T iapis from Java stands alone & all other subspecies are referred to the next available name cocytina.
T. iapis iapis ,Java.

6. Ypthima fasciata.

7. Ypthima baldus selinuntius.
Elliot opined that selinuntius from Borneo & moerus from Sumatra are part of the Y. horsfieldi complex
ie horsfieldi (Java) moerus(SUmatra) humei(Malaya) & selinuntius (Borneo)forms the Sundanian representatives(horsfieldi) of the baldus complex.

However, other authors have left selinuntius & moerus as ssp of baldus. There is no genitalic difference.

In Malaya newboldi represent the continental form moving into the peninsula.

8. Tanaecia iapis female.

There is a bewildering number of forms of Tanaecia in Borneo, many have been raised to full species perhaps without due consideration.

This one is the same as the taxon fruhstoferi in the link below , & is part of the T. iapis complex.
The arrowheads point outwards.

T/ orphne is very rare but have the affowhead pointing inwards.
C&P4 key states orphne is similar to aruna but ground is deep purple brown & FW spot 2 & 3 ovate vs aruna ,ground paler brown & FW spots 2 & 3 concave.

You may see T aruna & orphne here.

10. This resembles T. valmikis in Seitz' Plate 133.
This is treated as a full species.
See funet.

11. The highly zigzag submarginal line on the HW indicate it is Euthalia monina.

3. The long narrow club dark antenna & plain HW suggest it is a worn Pemara pugnans.
