So far I haven’t been able to find a clue as to the id of this specimen.
Lycaenidae, Pieridae???

It is a moth.

Callidula sakuni.
Of the several species C. sakuni is identifiable by the FW twin silvery bars being narrow & co-linear.

Thanks dr. Seow. I was misled by its perching posture which is rather like a butterfly.
