This Celaenorrhinus was photographed at Doi Pha Hom Pok, n Thailand this week. I assume this is Celaenorrhinus dhanada.

In the past Celaenorrhinus dhanada and Celaenorrhinus affinis were lumped into one species.

Looking at specimens, both species are known from Doi Inthanon, with affinis known north and west of there, and dhanada known north and east of there. There are no specimens of dhanada (that I am aware of) from Doi Pha Hom Pok, so would appear that these two species overlap on Doi Pha Hom Pok as well, if my identification is good. This would appear to be female Celaenorrhinus dhanada.

It should be Lobocla liliana.

C. dhanada have the FW band narrowed at both ends & the HW cilia is less broad.

Evan sates of the two species .
L liliana central spots conjoined into a compact band; FW cilia dark except at apex & tornus. (Most examples have 5 subapical spots)

Many thanks for the correction. I had thought of liliana, but ruled it out on account of only three spots in the apex.
