Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings from India!!!

I am uploading various families specimens for identification purpose. All specimens captured (Pop-up flash used) from Buxa Tiger reserve (North east), West Bengal, India in the month of April 2019.

I just guessed as below follows:
01. Potanthus confucius
02. Pithauria stramineipennis
03. Heteropsis malsara or H. davisoni
07. Prosotas bhutea
08. Nacaduba kurava
09. Nacaduba berenice or beroe

1. Potanthus probably correct as P. confucius, female.

P. confucius; Male have the FW band with veins not darkened or only lightly so ,ie it often appear as a single continuous band.
The female identfied by the black 'hole' in the FW cell may the veins lightly dark. Abdominal end yellow.

2.Pithauria stramineipennis. The sharper FWs & long orange-tipped antennae are typical.

3. H. malsara ;HW with entire regular margin; FW cilia not checquered.

H. davisoni : FW cilia checquered; HW margin crenulate.

4. ;Hasora chromus.

H. taminatus FW usually without a subapical spot; HW more rounded so white band appear set further in; marginal area widest in the middle; strong blue green sheen.

H. chromus: FW usually with a subapical spot; HW narrower, so marginal are of uniform width; weak purplish sheen.

5 Nacaduba berenice.

6. Prosotas pia ;There is a hint of dark mark below the midcell bar into space 1b; both marginal & submarginal spots much faded.

7. Probably Prosotas pia.FW too low to see lower spot; HW submarginal spots much more faded than the marginal.

8. Nacaduba berenice.Dark striae within bands strong; FW postdiscal band with mid dislocation; FW submarginals irregular many pointed; spot above midcell band.

9. Nacaduba berenice.Dark striae strong; FW postdiscal band crooked; submarginal irregularly pointed; spot above midcell band.



Nacadiba berenice; Dark striae strong; FW band typically with mid dislocation; FW submarginals irregular mostly with points.

Nacaduba calauria ;similar to N. berenice with strong dark striae; FW postdiscal band almost always straight; only submarginal spots 4 & 5 sharply pointed.

N. kurava; FW margin straight; FW band typically straight; dark striae may be weak in male; submarginal all with rounded margins; spot above midcell band always present.

Nacaduba beroe; FW without a spot above midcell band;male with dark striae weak; FW potdiscal band often with mid-dislocation; .male may have wingbase darker.

Prosotas nora; All marginal & submarginal spots of equally dark intensity or atleast the submarginals.; FW midcell band extending down into space 1b ( can only be seen if the FWs are well-raised.
