Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings from India!!!

I am sending one Polyura sp. for identification purpose. 1st specimen captured by my Sister and below two captured by me from Buxa Tiger reserve (North east), West Bengal, India in the month of March 2019. I also request for id guidance about P. athamas, arja and agararia.

N.B.: As per my uploaded image, I observed as follows (Top/1st image):

1. FW band more broader.
2. FW cell with one black dot and another poorly formed black dot is nearer the black line.
3. Two apical spot ( one is more prominent/big and another is obscure/small) above the sub apical spot (longer and rectangular).

Post 3.

The 2nd spot you indicated is just a speck, & not a true spot.

A good example of P. arja with a faint 2nd spot is below.

The 2nd spot with the 1st are parallel to the margin of the band.
