Last week, we spent three days at Omkoi, nw Thailand. Habitat was mainly Dipterocarp forest at 800 - 1,000 metres.
We encountered a bewildering array of Arhopala species here, that I am trying to sort out. In this first post I attach three images of two species (I think) that were unlike most of those encountered there (which will be the subject of a separate posting so as to avoid confusion). Please could I have some assistance to identify these.
With thanks.

Arhopala can be extremely difficult.

1. should be A. aurelia
This keyed out as a member of the alea subgroup ;underside is purple wash & HW spot 5 & cellend bar are very close.

2. This extremely difficult ;HW postdiscal band not not fully dislocated at vein 2.
The only that comes very close is A. paralea which have a purple glaze but this looks slately.

3 A. eumolphus. FW spot 4 dislocated from band above & below [ HW postdiscal band only partially dislocated at vein 2.
HW spot 6 often notched.
Dsf in the north.

Many thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. I realize these as extremely problematic.
