Dear Dr Seow,

Appreciate if you could help ID these shot in Bali:

1. Could this be a Common Cerulean (Jamides celeno?

25425

2. Could this be a Malay Viscount (Tanaecia pelea)? There are white markings on the hindwings from the T. pelea pelea found in Singapore.

25426

Thanks for the assistance.

Best regards,
David Chan

1 is a dry swason form of J. celeno.

2. TThe Indonesian island has totally different forms of Tanaecia.

I am not sure about this but I think it is the Tanaecia palguna.

T. palguna from Bali.
