The Malayan forms of the three species of Terinos are quite different from the subspecies further north but are easier to ID.

1, Terinos atlita teuthras. Always recognised by its angular FW with the apex truncated; HW with 2 chevron spots & tail at vein 4 longest.

2. T. clarissa malayanus; FW apex rounded ;HW with salmon pink patch.

3. Terinos terpander robertsia. FW apex rounded; HW with 2 helmet-shaped white spots.
