Charaxes aristogiton?

A shot of a Charaxes from Phrae, north Thailand. It's more usual to struggle with the underside images of this species, and its lookalike C. bernardus. However, in this case I only have the upperside shot.

I am pretty sure this is C. aristogiton, based on the narrower forewing margin and the row of crescent-shaped spots running along the forewing from space 1 to about space 4-5. However, a few images on the web show this feature on bernardus, though to a lesser extent. Would be grateful for confirmation on this being aristogiton please.

It should be C. bernardus hierax variant.

The two can be confusingly similar.

C. bernardus hierax :FW costa with one cellend black mark; the inner margin of FW black border strongly excavated by the orange forming two 'spots'.
Lower margin with less zigzag line.

Some error on the web eg this should be C. aristogiton.

So, I have this one (from n Thailand) down also as C. aristogiton, based mainly on the straight dark margins on the underside. Upperside matches aristogiton better I think, though this one does not show two spots on the forewing (one plus a dirty mark?). Your thoughts please:
