I would have thought separating these two would have been straightforward, but the more images one looks at the web the more confusing it gets.

A male Euthalia photographed in my garden at Chiang Mai. Both libentina and malaccana would be in range in northern Thailand, and the straight alignment of the spots in the apex would appear to favour malacanna, as would the short white bar along the front edge of the wing on both upper and underside. However, the alignment of spots in the apex doesn't seem to be as easy to differentiate as the literature makes out. Would be grateful for an opinion on this individual. I think it's a male E. malaccana.
Thanks.

It is E. lubentina.
The four upper postdiscal spots curved to join the tiny costal spot.

In E. malaccana the four spots are directed to FW tip.
