1. Typical Potanthus pseudomaesa.
HW band spots 4+5(upper half) project out from spots 2 & 3 strongly. Underside wsf marked with black spots.
FW band spots 4 & 5 little overlap with other spots,; spots 2 & 3 broad.

P. ganda; HW spots 4+5 slightly projecting; veins not darkened ;Underside with dark shades, no spot.

P. pallidus HW spots 4 & 5 moderate to strongly projecting; HW underside pale, greenish, dark shading ,no spots.

2. Potanthus juno: FW subapical spot 8 absent or much reduced or vestigial; FW spot 5 smaller than spot 4; Underside lightly dark shaded, no spot.

4. Potanthus trachala tytleri.HW spots 4+5 strongly porjecting out( as in pseudomaesa); Underside with dark spots.
FW spots 4 & 5 detacned ;spots often with concave margins in the male.

Potanthus sita is somewhat similar to P. trachala but the spots are yellow.

5.Probably Potanthus palnia.;HW spots 4+5 moderately projected; Underside dark shaded ,no dark spots, greenish ;FW spots 5 smaller than spot 4.

7.Telicota bambusae bambusae.
In the past T. bambusae was considered a ssp of the Australian T. ancilla.
FW brand straight ;FW spots in space 1b, 2 , & 3 broad; outer margins of spots often concave.

T. linna is very similar but larger with longer FW,(FW 18mm vs T. bambusae FW 15mm.) the FW band narrower.

8 & 9 Polytremis eltola.

Evan states.
P eltola FW spots bright yellow ;basal FW ochreous ; FW spot 2 & 3 close; HW cilia yellow; Un colour dark ochreous.
P. discreta; FW spots white or pale yellow; FW base with greenish hairs;HW cilia whitish; Un colour greenish ochreous.

10 Parnara bada . Typical Parnara with short stubby antennal clubs; HW spots 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6. small & irregular.
