Some additional Thai species that I haven’t been able to ID properly.
All observations were made in Jan/Feb 2017.

1 & 2 Ideopsis similis.
FW cellend spot less irregular; discal spot 2 & 3 rounded; Un. HW vein 1a & 1b (inner margin very thinly browned.

3. Tanaecia julii female; FW with white costal spots HW submarginal spots set far in from the margin.

4. Papilio nephelus; FW UN with subapical white mark. HW submarginal spots white. ssp annulus.

5. Euploea tulliolus. Rounded FWs; HW inner spots increase in size upwards. Correction: Euploea eunice.

6. Euploea core ;FW apex with white shadings.

7. M. intermedia Correction: M. visala.

9. Mycalesis perseus. HW lower 4 spots in 2 sets at an angle.

10). Mycalesis mineus; HW lower 4 spots in line ;inner margins of spots indent higher up.

11. Cynitia flora. HW blue band tapers upward ;FW band iner margin irregular.

C. godartii.HW blue band narrower & tapers upwards; FW blue band with straight inner margin in line with that of HW at rest.

12. Female Appias lycinda ;HW with very broad brown margin.

13. Unknown.

14 & c15; Neptis hylas. FW cell bar with 'broken bone appearance.

16 & 17 . Jamides celeno.

5. is Euploea eunice.
The FW apex is sharper & the outer margin more rounded.

Dear dr. Seow,
Thank you very much for your id’s and I really do appreciate your comments and example-links as they prove very helpful in building up my own knowledge and understanding (although some differences can be very subtle :-()

Ideopsis vulgaris & similis.

The two species are very easily confused in some areas.

Ideopsis vulgaris :FW cellend spot very irregular ;all spots beyond more elongate (wedge-shaped) .Underside HW stripes on inner margin thicker.

Ideopsis similis: FW cellend spot less irregular (without spikes); spots beyond much more rounded ;Underside HW inner margin stripes (last two) narrow especially in the female.
