This was photographed in Yala, southern Thailand. Closest match I can find on the web is Dusky Cerulean J. virgulatus.

Would appreciate comments on the identification please.2437224373

Both are variants of Jamides celeno.

A. FW postdiscal band (middle one) straight & not broken in the middle.

J. celeno. HW white lines variable, may be chaotic; silvery sidebars on black spot short or unequal.

2. J. pura silvery sidebars on black spot equally long.

3. J. zebra ;FW outer margin of band scalloped.

4 J. malaccanus :HW all white lines complete from top to bottom; orange merge with little white line 'above' it.

B. J. virgulatus.
1. FW band broken ( angled)in the middle.
HW basal band aligned .
3. Orange patch large.
