1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 are correct as stated.

6. is best left as Y. baldus selinuntius.

There is a muddle here.
The taxa of the baldus complex in the Sunda land masses are moerus Sumatra. selinuntius in Borneo , horsfieldii in Java &humei/I] in Malaya.

The Javan taxon has been upgraded to a full species ie [I]Y. horsfieldii horsfieldii.
It follows that the rest should be ssp. of horsfieldi, but they are not much different from baldus.

In Malaya which become connected to the mainland there is also taxon newboldi originating from Thailand which is treated as a ssp of baldus.

In Thailand Y. horsfieldi humei does not seem to be recognised & is included in the population of Y. baldus newboldi.

In Java confusingly Y. horsfieldii usually have large conjoined ocelli .
example from Bali

Post 3.

Ypthima argus.

In the past Y. argus is treated as synonym of Y. baldus but it is distinct in that the last two spots in space 1b are conbined into a single spot.
It is said to be a common butterfly in Japan & also bears the name Common Five-ring.

Korea.

The Bandung specimen seems closer to Y. nigricans especially in the shape of the ocellus nearest the costa. It's endemic to Java.

In pandocus the yellow ring is uniform in width and the local ssp has much more extensive white areas.

There's another species in Java, argillosa, which i don't know.

There's another species in Java, argillosa, which i don't know.

There is individual variation in the amount of white & shape of ocelli can varies greatly.

The Bandung specimen is identical to this Y. pandocus from Borneo.
http://l7.alamy.com/zooms/0c46aefe85d24b8fab977c6d2dc799be/ypthima-sp-butterfly-borneo-drrmfc.jpg

It is also similar but a bit less white than this from Bandung.
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:P001_JAVA_West_Tea_Estate_Ypthima_Pandocus_Pa ndocus_(6410046489).jpg

Y. nigricans is described as being smaller & darker than Y. pandocus. ( nigricans = darkening)
The author compares it to Y. loryma from Sulawesi ie. it has close similarity to this species.
http://www.samuibutterflies.com/expeditions/satyrinae/ypthimaloryma/

This Y. p. pandocus from Java is stated as "Not sure of Identification"
Note FW 17-23mm. vs. Y. pandocus' FW lenght of 22-24 mm.
Since there are only 2 spp. of 3-rings in Java this is almost certain to be Y. nigricans.
Note HW basal half is evenly dark shaded unlike in Y. p. pandocus.
http://www.pteron-world.com/topics/classfication/nymphalidae/satyrinae/satyrini/satyrina.html

Based on these I feel no. 3 has to be Y. pandocus pandocus.

Y. argillosa is a species with 6 ocelli as in Y. baldus & its status is uncertain.
