Female Potanthus pseudomaesa.

There appeared to be only 3 species in Bangladesh.

P. pseudomaesa smaller .FW 12mm. more rounded.
HW veins across band lightly darkened above & below; Un HW spot 4/5 of band projected out.
Upperside FW band with veins lightly darkened; spot 4 & 5 almost fully detached.

P. trachala. Larger FW sharper; 15mm.
HW veins across band not darkened, but may be lightly so. Underside HW spot 4/5 projected out .
Upperside FW band with veins darkened, spots almost discrete with strongly concave margins; spots 4&5 well-detached.

P. confucius. FW 13-14 mm.
HW veins not darkened above & below; Underside HW spots 4&5 not or only slightly projected out.
Upperside FW veins not darkened & spots united into a continuous band. : FW spots 4&5 strongly overlapping those above & below them, on both upper/undersides.
