The species of Euploea can be very difficult to ID based on the underside alone.

1. E tulliolus. FW apex rounded; Underside paler brown; spots all white.

In E. eunice . FW apex more pointed; Underside darker; some FW spots may be bluish.
E. eunice is very large ie more than twice the size of E. tulliolus & darker.

2. Euploea mulciber male. The wingshape.; tiny spots & bit of the white spotted upperside blue are characteristic.

3. presents a difficulty.
Probably Euploea midamus chloe. The HW submarginals are more rounded ie not more than 3X the width.
The species with more elongate submarginals can be excluded. ie . E. algea, doubledayi & eyndhovii.
http://yutaka.it-n.jp/dan/30280010.html

This leaves those with rounded HW submarginal spots.
E. sylvester can be eliminated because FW is strongly blue-shot. (The tear shows the upper brown colour.)
All with strong FW spots can be eliminated eg E. core , crameri.

This leaves two species in contention ie E. modesta & midamus.
Both are brownish with only basal blue sheen, midamus being the commoner.

Typical E. modesta. Note less marginal spots ; wingshape more rounded.

Typical E. midamus chloe. , Note more FW marginal spots; the elongate spot in space 1b mirrored the upperside male brand.

4.. Possibly .Euploea eunice . See comments for no. 1.

no. 1 Male Euploea mulciber mulciber..
The wingshape is highly distorted but is that of mulciber with the cut in outer margin. Moreover the HW white streaks are often seen in mulciber.

No. 2 male E. mulciber.

No. 3 Probably right as female Euploea modesta modesta. Corrected.
This closely resembles the female modesta from Ko Tarutao in markings & wingshape.

Male Malaya.
