Picture taken at Subang Jaya, Selangor. I thought it could be C. sperthis or C. tagalica

It should be a female Curetis saronis. Note orange marks &long palpi of female.

The Curetis can be rather difficult because the appearance can varies widely.

1. Underside speckled with tiny black dots.

1a Underside FW band oblique : C. bulis, santana, felderi.

1b Underside FW band parallel to margin.C.sperthis.

2. Underside without black dots FW band always parallel to margin.

2a. Underside bands composed of linear marks/ lines. eg C. insularis, freda.

2b. Bands composed of lunules (little moons) ie curved crescentic marks.

Legs banded with red/orange or redbrown ;HW band irregular & broken at several points C. saronis.

Legs banded black ;HW band less irregular, dislocated but not completely broken C. regula.
