I will always remember the shooting of this butterfly.

First because my freinds and I were hunting many years for this rarity.

Second because we just found it an hour after I had a stupid accident costed the fracture of my left ankle. :cry:

Third because the day after I insisted to go back on the location, with my crutches, and helped by my good butterfly friends, manage to photograph this beautiful female while deposing on thre host plant

Great shot. I wonder when this will show up again in Singapore.
Was the host plant a Ficus?

It has been found here lately in KL. I would say it is not rare but hardly come down from tree top. Unless it is laying egg or feeding. :cheers:

Woah... now just to find one in Singapore too. No sightings in years..
