After having read the relevant section of the “Identification Key for look-alike”-thread, I begin to doubt if these photos allow a more detailed determination than “Ypthima baldus complex”?

Photo 1 and 2 (same individual)
Ypthima horsfieldii?
Location: Lampang, Thailand
2383823839

Photo 3
Ypthima singorensis?
Location: Fang, Chang Mai province, Thailand
23840

Photo 4
Ypthima sp.?
Location: Chang Mai, Thailand
23841

The photos were taken in January 2016 so they probably are dry season form, if such a seasonal difference exists for these species.

Thanks and Cheers,
David

Ypthima are rather difficult as there are far more species in Thailand.

1 & 2 looks good for Ypthima baldus female.
The markings & fasciae are as for baldus: upperside HW spot 2 & 3 conjoined.

3. Although it matches Y. singorensis it is hard to tell .

4. The HW's fascia(bands) are very vague & this indicate it is Y. nebulosa dsf.

TL Seow: Cheers.
