1 This Cerulean appears to have an extra "tail" on the forewing margin. ID please

2 Is this Arhopala the same as 3). Picture retouched a bit to highlight wing pattern

3 Appears dark when sighted. Didn't use flash for the shot.

1. J. celeno.
The FW 'tail is probably damaged wing.

2. Same individual; the tear is iddentical.
Unfortunate an ID feature . a white tornal cilia dot is missing.
Very likely A. major.


A: HW with white tornal dot.

A. norda : HW postdiscal spot 1b (ie in space 1b) a 'V'.

A. moolaiana. HW spot 1b fat & bow-shaped.

A. amphimuta :HW spot 1b V-shaped with equal arms.
Note male upperside completely blue.

A. major. HW spot 1b J or L shaped with the upper arm shorter .
Note tear on FW show the upperside's broad brown border.
