I presume all three shots are of one individual, since 1 & 3 seem to be on the same leaf.

From the underside pic2, the veins seem lightly darkened & so this might have been dismissed as P. omaha.
But it looks rather large & on the HW (pic 2) spot 6 (2nd from the top ) is rather large .

In pic 3, two features are distinct.
1. The FW band on the left have continuous overlaps without any break.
2. The Upperside HW do not have the veins darkened.

From this combination of features only two species are possible.

I will put it as the female Potanthus confucius mainly because P. pava is supposedly found only in northern Malaya.

There is a nagging suspicion whether this can be P. pava because HW spot 6 is large on the upperside.
P. pava is a larger species (roughly = P. serina ) the FW band is broader & the HW spot 6 is alway large.

This female has been shot several times before but without the upperside it was thought to be perhaps a large stout P. omaha female.

Didn't notice that you have P.confucius and P. pava records in Singapore.
For these 2 species, we usually disguise them by the spot in H.W.:

23797 FYI
They also do this in Taiwan:

23798 (the 1st one is P.confucius and the forth is P. pava

So, I think this could be better chance a P. pava

Didn't realise you are from HK & shooting in Singapore.
You seem to be the first one to have an upperside shot of either confucius or pava.

P. pava is only recorded in Lankawi/Kedah in northern peninsular Malaysia, far from Singapore.

For P. confucius there are old records, & current unofficial ones for Singapore.

In the past several shots were made in Singapore eg by Federick aka Peacock Royal.

Male :FW band very broad ; could also a dsf (dry season form) of P. confucius.

A upperside male shot is needed for the ID of P. pava.

If it turns out to be P. pava ,it is probably an accidental introduction.

In your book images .
1st is P. trachala female; male have curved spots.
2nd is P. pava female . male have a solid FW orange patch without a black hole.
3rd is P. pseudomaesa female ; likewise male have a solid FW orange patch.
4th is correct as P. confucius male.

The 2nd attachment .

2nd is P. pava (ie not the 4th).

1. Potanthus trachala female.
FW band widely detached bteween spot 5 & 6. HW upper spot strongly projected out.
P. trachala in Singapore have the FW spots with more concave margins.

2. Potanthus omaha male.HW veins darkened.
The darkening of the veins varies greatly on both sides & can be very confusing with P. ganda.
All examples from Singapore. Underside without black spots; lightly shaded.

3. Female Potanthus omaha.
The underside FW veins are sharply darkened.

4. male Potanthus omaha.
The HW veins are darkened though not strongly ;FW spots with straight sides; Degree of detchment variable.
