Amathusia binghami.
The main (discal) band is broad, much broader than the paler postdiscal band & is also more reddish than in philippus in life.
The HW pale subdiscal band is notched by the veins , the upper end with a rounded head.
The upperside have the subapical band tawny orange noticeable when it takes flight.
A. female phidippus for comparison.

I'll leave myself open to be wrong, but it looks like A. ochraceofusca to me.

Agreed, it is Amathusia ochraceofusca.
The indentation. on the outer margin of the FW median band are very shallow.

However, some individuals have deeper indentations & looks very much like A. schoenbergi.

In A. schoenbergi the indentations are deep & sharp that at vein 4 slightly deeper than at vein 3.
The HW band's outer margin is excavated (concave) in space 4 & 5 , usually both.

Seow, thanks for the confirmation. I have actually got something right for a change!!!

I did look at A. schoenbergi, but could not see that it was right.

Post 10.
Male Amathusia binghami.
The colour rendition is too grey here, causing the colour to be muted & dull.
The HW suddiscal pale band is distinctly notched, the tear shows the orange border of the HW.

The Amathusia species can be very difficult to ID based on underside alone.
Two other similar species in which the HW subdiscal band is notched are A. friderici & masina .(phidippus usually have this band unnotched & broader than the inner dark band.)

A. friderici holmanhunti looks practically identical to A. binghami. Two forms occur.
The normal form is very rare in Malaya but relatively common in Thailand. The pale bands are pale cream.
eg HalaBala, Thailand border.

Form utana may be common in oil palm estates as oil palm is a hostplant. The upperside is very dark almost black in the male.
The underside is similar to binghami, but is purple-glazed causing the pale bands to be maroon-tinged & dark , and so contrasting poorly.

Amathusia masina have the median band broad & straight dark redbrown ;postdiscal band solid rich brown without fade in the middle.
The white band between them is almost obliterated especially in the male.
The rich red brown outer halves of the wings contrast strongly with the white bands on the inner halves.
