It is Arhopala amphimuta.

A. amphimuta & major are very similar & can be confusing.
However, if you can see that the HW postdiscal spot in space 1b (I called it spot 1b for short.) is a V it is A. amphimuta.
That is the spot that lies to the inside of the blue-green metalmark.

In Arhopala major the same spot 1b is an L or a J (somewhat irregular).
The middle spot in space 7 , (that is the upper part of the HW) also tends to be rather small compared to the others.

Help needed. After reading the above, still can't make out if it is a amphimuta or a major.
Thanks in advance.

It is Arhopala major.
Notice that spot 1b that is to the inside of the blue metalmark (in the pic. it is to the right of the metalmark) is a 'J' or inverted 'L'.

TL : Cheers.
