Regarding the Ypthima sp, here is the upperside. As far as I can work out, it is either Y. confusa or Y. watsoni watsoni.

My last few from this Park. Unfortunately, our visit to this mountain park (entrance at 1650m, rising to 1850m) was curtailed by very heavy rain. Accordingly, this will be the shortest of the 3 threads on our trip. It was a shame as we hoped to see more montane species.

1) A very sad sight! The only specimen seen of this species had been run over. Neptis ananta learmondi (Ananta Sailor)
2) I think this is Celatoxia marginata marginata (Margined Hedge Blue)
3) Mycalesis francisca sanatana (Lilacine Bushbrown)?
4) Fully open-winged Zemeros flegyas allica (Punchinello)

The Ypthima should be Y. confusa.
On the underside, no dark striping ,especially around FW ocellus; HW spot 2 only about 1 1/2 that of spot 1b (twice in watsoni.)

If you do not have this, it is useful.( Ypthima in Vietnam pdf.)

Celatoxia marginata marginata is distinctive on the upperside.

Mycalesis francisca is right.
Note the dark discal line is deeply indented above vein 6.

Acraea issoria ranged southwards to Sumatra, Java & Bali, a path followed by Papilio paris, strange.

Thank you. Particularly thanks for the Ypthima paper which will, hopefully, be very useful for future trips up north.

Final figures from the trip for me : New species 37. New subspecies 32 (plus many more seen but stupidly not photographed). Total cost, 1 leech bite, a bargain!
