Dr. Seow helping a friend from Hong Kong seeking IDs , these are from areas around Gopeng , Ipoh.

1) Arhopala achelous achelous - very similar to A. anthelus so I checked the spotting against my photos of the latter, which has very similar markings but with a couple of additional spots. Nice, I have not seen this one before.
2) Mahathala ariadeva ariadeva
3) Simiskina pharyge deolina
4) Jamides of the celeno group. Would not want to say for sure which one!

Thanks for going ahead with the IDs, Les. Much appreciated.
It save a lot of effort double-checking.

The Jamides is highly unusual as the underside would be a dry season form.
Since the HW is partly deformed it may have been caused by injury to the pupa inducing a dsf.

Sunny, I believe that an upperside shot of Ronny's that you identified as another species of Simiskina is actually the upperside of this one. (I can not post on his facebook). The forewing cell is not crossed by a broad blue streak!
