After looking at a bunch of photos and specimens of the Mangrove Tree Nymph and the other two subspecies clara (from Taiwan) and siamensis (from Thailand), the most consistent characteristic that distinguishes ssp chersonesia from the other two is the post-discal black triangular spots in spaces 4, 5 and 6. In chersonesia these spots are consistently large and conjoined, forming a jagged post-discal band on the hindwings. In the other two subspecies, the spots are small and almost always not touching the black veins on the hindwings.

The pictures below illustrate what I mean. I have two voucher specimens from the early 2000's NParks survey of Pulau Tekong, which also displays the same characteristics. If anyone else has any other sources of specimens or photos, please offer your views as well.
