Dr Seow or experts, what Awl is this? Thanks!
White Banded Awl (Hasora taminatus malayana)?

Yes, this is the White Banded Awl (Hasora taminatus malayana.)

In case of doubt with old worn individuals, both H. vitta & chromus have one or more FW subapical spots.

I think it was Kimura 2011, who elevated malayana to a full species, so this would be Hasora malayana malayana accordingly.
This does not seem to have gain universal acceptance yet, & the web is full of confusing captions.
Yutaka have follow his compatriot & list both as separate species.
The difference is slight. H. taminatus as designated have the basal more purplish & the outer margin of the white band streaky.

No harm in leaving it as it is even if the Japanese are right.
