Caterpillar of Butterfly or Moth

I jus found a photo of a hairy caterpillar captured at Sg buloh many years back (Internet still at infancy).

So butterfly or moth to be? My guess butterfly.

Hope to finally learn its ID. Tq.

Sorry, my memory is rusty...... Sg buloh used to be a weekly weekend visit but this shot should be taken along the Bt Timah Hill main road years ago.
