Sharing some shots i've taken lately. All common species. the forests are as usual, very quiet this time of the year. so places like parks and gardens are more productive. for me anyway.

a plain tiger. this one was shot in my balcony.

a male lemon emigrant -form hilaria, perching on a fern frond.

a male Dingy Line Blue puddling on a little stone. my first encounter with this species on mainland. all the other times i've seen it has been on Ubin.

Your shots deserve to be in the main Butterfly Photography sub-forums, Lemon. These are shots that you can cartainly be proud of! :thumbsup:

thank you both for the nice words.

my pictures are rather inconsistent. sometimes they turn out ok while other times they're pretty :nono:

i think shooting with a 105mm is challenging, especially for bigger subjects. the background tends to be in focus too much and results in a very "neither here nor there" blurry effect.
