Opening up my un-ID file tonight, and if you guys don't mind, need help in ID-ing, and confirming the ID of some of these taken in Malaysia some time back. Didn't manage to ID some of them, especially the Jamides.

1. correct

2. Polytremis discreta.(spots are larger & closer.)

3. Male Jamides caeruleus.(elpis subgroup;hindwing basal band broken; striae arrangement.)

4. Should be Jamides parasaturatus. ( short palpi -male; upperside pale blue; costa apical part black; underside like malaccanus.)

5. Jamides alecto (elpis subgroup; hindwing basal band broken; forewing white striae broad in space 1b.)

6 is probably J. malaccanus.
7. is Jamides malaccanus (Underside complete bands; upper deep blue, tornal black spots.)

8 & 9 are correct.

Some wonderful and unusual species here.

The aberration of Anthene lycaenina is similar to the aberration of Duedorix epijarbus I showed a while back.

I think no 2 is best left as Polytremis eltola.

C&P4 described eltola as having the spotting more restricted & the tornal cilia of the hindwing above ochreous (white in discreta.).

However, the spots in space 1b & 2 on the forewing are the ones notceably smaller & these are hidden.
It is also difficult to judge if the tornal cilia are white in worn individual.
P. eltola eltola from Sikkim.
