Encountered this skipper at the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. It was rather tame and allowed me time to close in for a decent shot. The underside is much paler brown compared to the usual Caltoris spp., and the hindwing cilia are yellowish. The pic below shows one cell spot on the forewing, but there is a lower cell spot too (saw this when it moved to another perch).

Dr Seow, any idea on its species ID?

The dark grey body indicates it is Baoris.
As confirmation the tibia of the mid leg (upright portion on the left) is finely spiny .(Note fore-legs held-up)
Since it is obviously not B. oceia, it is B. farri.
See pic below -(colouration too grey)

PS. This looks correct.

Thanks, Dr Seow for the quick reply. :)
I looked up a LH record of B. farri I did in 2007 and posted in BC forum (http://www.butterflycircle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5162), and the adults indeed have close resemblance. :)

The mid-leg is the leg on the left and the tibia is the upright portion of this leg below the head until the big spine.
