A pleasant evening reading about the origins of butterflies

I was intrigued to find a large envelope in today's mail with colorful stamps from... Singapore. It held a diverse selection of scientific papers dealing with the origins of butterflies. i was pretty comfortable with the age of butterflies going back 40 to 60 million years, but some of the papers have suggested that butterflies and moths evolved much earlier. These papers were the thoughtful gift of BC's most knowledgeable source on butterflies and to him I extend my thanks. Does anyone have any doubt who this esteemed individual is?
