Looks very much like one of the Hawkmoth caterpillars to me. Are you trying to breed it to see what comes out? :)

Haha sort of. We're raising monarchs now and I'm familiar with that bushy caterpillar in the back that's also eating water spinach, but I've never seen this black one before!

So it'll turn into a moth? Let me know so I can squish it now, because I don't like how moths look, honestly. Haha

It looks like one of the Hummingbird Hawkmoth caterpillars. Please don't 'squish' it, they are really rather beautiful moths. What species is the cat behind it in the photo?

The furry one behind it...I don't know its scientific name but it's black and royal blue when it turns into a butterfly. Really pretty...but ugly as a caterpillar! Haha!
